Premium Reconciliation Analyst

San Antonio, TX

Position Summary:

Due to our continuing and steady growth we are seeking an additional person to be part of our dynamic Premium Reconciliation department.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly financial close activities including
  • Preparing and reviewing of month end reports
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Carrier Invoicing
  • Process contribution reports received from client companies
  • Contact client companies regarding discrepancies.
  • Enters new and revised enrollments and requests
  • Attach coverage information for medical, dental, vision, life, employee assistance programs, DUB and disability plans to the employee/dependent records as required
  • Communicates extensively by phone, email and letter with client companies and covered members
  • Review and examine data as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Detail oriented with exceptional accounting, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to prepare and analyze data and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong Excel® skills required; Marco generation a plus
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in various forms
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
