Retirement Plan Administrator

Position Summary:

FCE Benefit Administrators currently looking to bring on board a Retirement Plan Administrator to join our team. As the Retirement Plan Administrator, your day will consist of speaking with clients, PEP service providers and internal employees of FCE for the operational requirements of our proprietary Pooled Employer Plan

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of 401(k) accounts for active and terminated participants.
  • Monitor daily trading activity in 401(k) accounts.
  • Coordinate with Payroll department for 401(k), catch-up, and loan deductions.
  • Create and maintain 401(k) forms and documentation.
  • Coordinate with prior recordkeepers of converting clients to file Final 5500.
  • Serve as a backup in processing loans, distributions, and rollovers for active and terminated participants.
  • Assist Chief Benefits Administrator with employer matching, audit, year-end, and reporting projects.
  • Prepare new participant and termination packets consistent with the plan valuation documents.
  • Provided written and verbal communication relative to the administration process to clients.
  • Complete day-to-day administration efforts for retirement benefit plan.
  • Responsible for timely distribution of required notices.
  • Ensured timely transmission of all required forms to the clients.
  • Maintaining client relationships.
  • Work closely with our service partners for our PEP.
  • Other administrative duties as it pertains to the 401(k) plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word®, Excel®, Outlook®, and PowerPoint®.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • Intermediate abilities within Excel®.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
